Membership Has Its Advantages
My fellow Alumni,
Our History section of this website is now Password Protected. The cost of design, hosting, domain registration, on going research, travel and mileage, scanning, photo copying, plus man hours to present this massive amount of History has been burdened by just one classmate in the past out of a labor of love.
In the past we have asked that fellow Alumni who enjoy this site to assist with a donation to help defray some of the costs. This request was posted on the entry page of this website. Our statistics show that in the first five months since we went live we have had over 3,000 visitors to the site. We have also received many complementary letters and do appreciate it very much. We thank you.
However we have come to a crossroads where we need your help to keep this valued website on line. In asking for those that enjoy the site to make a donation was simply not working. So we ask each of you to play a part in this project by becoming a member to keep the site up and expanding.
Membership has its advantages! For a year's subscription you will receive:
- A username and password (not to be shared outside of your immediate family).
- Access to the History Section which includes:
- Hundreds of stories spanning the years of Alhambra (Union) High School.
- Hundreds of stories about the School District.
- Stories about early Martinez Education.
- Stories about our Community and General History.
- Access to our collection of 86 Alhambra Torches.
- You will also be added to the Alumni Email Distribution list for periodic updates.
- You will have the ability to locate lost classmates that are also members.
- Plus other advantages as time goes by.
Initial membership and registration is $20 with a $20 renewal due every year on the anniversary month. Your password will change each year .
We hope to make a donation back to Alhambra High School with some of the membership dues collected after costs and expenses.
